Founded in 2013 by Jacob Gluck, a young entrepreneur in his late 20s, Goza Tequila, an Atlanta-based spirit company and supplier of Super Premium, 100% de Agave tequila brands. Goza offers three distinct varieties: Goza Tequila Blanco, Reposado, and Añejo. In one word, Goza, Spanish for “enjoy,” captures the essence of the brand – to enjoy life, enjoy friends, and definitely enjoy some darn good tequila.
What differentiates this brand? To begin with, there are only about 110 licensed tequila producers in all of Mexico – and between them they make about 1,000 different brands. However, Goza is the onlytequila available in the U.S. that is produced by their Mexican distillery partners. In that sense, they are unique as more than one in nine tequila brands come from the same distillery. Grown in the highlands of Jalisco, Goza is estate tequila—completely vertically integrated from harvest to bottling. The result is a perfectly smooth, no-bite tequila.
Goza’s bottle artwork has been specially created by world-renowned Pop Artist Burton Morris. Morris’ distinct style boldly projects a mood of energy and optimism true to the brand’s core meaning.
Goza is rapidly growing its reach in the Georgia market, and is available in over 50 liquor stores and more than 200 bars and restaurants throughout the state. Goza has secured distribution with the largest tequila distributor in the U.S., Republic National Distributing Company, and recently launched in Nashville and Chattanooga as well.
